Singletrack Bikes is so lucky to be positioned smack bang right in the middle of Mountain Biking Heaven!
Galashiels is situated at one end of the Tweed Valley Forest Park, home to the award winning infamous Glentress and Innerleithen, and is central to all of the 7Stanes Project MTB centres.
Our bike shop in Galashiels is a great base to start planning any adventures from. We offer many services including Emergency Repairs for visitors as well as a transport service from Galashiels Bike Shop to Glentress passing through Innerleithen on the way.
There is accomodation aplenty in Galashiels as well as plenty of fantastic Restaurants, Pubs and Clubs. We also go out every Tuesday night about 6:30pm from the shop to explore a little "off-piste" taking in some of the natural singletrack that flows through the surrounding area. Why not come along? It's a great introduction to Mountain Biking in the Scottish Borders, and there are always riders with a good knowledge and passion for the area.

Let our shuttle service take care of your transport needs up the Tweed Valley by taking you and your bike to the award winning Glentress Mountain Bike park.

Sunday Mornings 10:00am – 1:00pm
Sunday Afternoons 2:00am – 5:00pm
Travel time is around 30 mins each way giving you 2 hours riding at the venue. Price also includes an uplift to the Buzzards Nest Freeride Car Park.
If you have a group of 4 then we will happily put on private runs up the Tweed Valley from Galashiels Bike Shop and further beyond. This means you can all ride for as long as your group likes!
