Are you passionate about bikes and enjoy dealing with the public?

We require a time served cycle mechanic to work in a flexible role within a fast paced environment. Pay depending on level of experience, abilities and technical knowledge. Initial 6 month fixed term contract at 4 days per week, however may lead to a permanent full time position. Must also be able to work on Saturdays due to our opening hours.

Ideally you should have a Cytech or equivalent qualification, but the right experience, ability and attitude would score you very highly. We would especially love to hear from people with brake bleeding, suspension servicing, and wheel building skills.

You should be friendly, have good communication skills, and be fairly competent on a computer using EPOS systems and back office order management.

The role is a flexible role with a variety of duties which include:

• Assessment of bicycle condition and advising customers of works required


• Servicing and repairing bicycles of all genres including high end equipment


• PDI of new bicycles for instore and online transactions


• Picking and packing internet orders


• Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries


• Replying to emails

The successful candidate would also be expected to be adaptable and have an open attitude towards change as the company needs to evolve to meet the needs of a fast changing market.
