About Us

Our Business

Singletrack Bikes is based in the coastal town of Kirkcaldy, and owned/run by David Macmillan who has over 20 years of experience in the cycle industry. David's experience previous to Singletrack Bikes is working for some of the most familiar names in the industry. You'd maybe remember him from driving the UK's first official uplift service at Innerleithen for ProGravity's Red Bull Project Downhill where he also had the lucky job of checking the trails and risk assessing them for each weekend, taking bookings, and putting on the infamous Wild Wet Winter downhill race series. David has also enjoyed working at ProBikesport and 2Pure taking on a variety of technical roles. Whether you are a super keen roadie or mountain biker, you're a commuter, or enjoy family bike rides then David will listen to your requirements and deliver a service to suit your needs.

Our bike shop in Kirkcaldy has just a small selection of the stock available on this website, so if visiting for something specific you have seen on this site please contact us before visiting so we can make sure your trip is worthwhile.

Bikes are our passion

The staff at Singletrack Bikes are mostly cyclists and know how important it is for you to get out on your bike. For some people, cycling is a means of commuting to work, whereas others blow the cobwebs away at the weekends, by getting out on muddy (or dusty!) trails in the mountains. Whatever category you fall into, we can meet your cycling needs. We have a wide range of products available at competitive prices, as well as experienced sales advisers, who can assist those who may not know exactly what they are looking for.

All our legal terms & conditions are on the 'Terms' tab in the navigation bar at the top which you should read. Below we have highlighted some reasons why you should shop with us:
