Cross country riding is changing - the bikes are more capable than ever the trail choices and courses are getting rougher and rowdier and riders are continuing to progress and push the boundaries. XC/trail bikes typically lean towards higher efficiency which can lead to a trade-off in suspension and rider comfort. Hand and arm fatigue have increasingly become a factor that impacts many of these riders ranging from annoyance to limiting performance that might cut your day short. Race Face has developed the new Next SL carbon bar to focus on reducing rider fatigue without compromising handling. The design allows good vertical flex for extra comfort while additional carbon added to the front and back of the bar eliminates bad horizontal flex for improved steering precision. At 167g it's the lightest in its category thanks in part to a 35mm bar diameter which helps reduce weight while maintaining strength.

When will my order arrive? (excluding Bikes)

Just above the 'Add to basket' button you will see the item availability. We have 3 different availability stock flags on our website which will determine how long an order will take to arrive.

In Stock in Kircaldy Shop
This means that we physically have the item in the shop. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options then you can expect your order within 1 to 3 working days. If you choose a Non Priority Delivery service you can expect your order within 3 to 5 working days.

In Stock at Supplier
Our stock system is linked in with our suppliers stock system which allows us to offer a wider product range, but does increase the delivery times a little. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options you can expect the order within 3 to 5 working days. If you choose Non Priority Delivery you can expect the order within 5 to 10 working days, although this is completely determined by the speed of the item coming from our supplier.

Out of Stock
This means that both ourselves and our suppliers are out of stock of the item. Although the website won't allow you to order something with this stock flag you are more than welcome to contact us with the Product ID. We may be able to back order it for you, or at least see if we can provide an estimated restocking date.

If you need an order quicker than this please email us with the product ID to find out if this is possible to avoid disappointment.

What about bikes?

We aim to dispatch all bikes within 5 working days, but during busy periods we may have a few builds in the queue and could take a bit longer. If this is a concern or you need the bike before a certain date then please email us to make sure we can achieve this and avoid any disappointment. We will email you the day of dispatch and you can expect the bike the following day. If you provide a mobile number on your order the courier will also send you a text message 1 hour before delivery so you know exactly what time to expect it.

Who do you use to send orders?

We use Royal Mail for most of your orders unless they are bulky or valuable, in which case we will send the order using DPD. You can also specify DPD at checkout if you prefer to have your item delivered with an hours notice in the form of email or text from the courier.
