The Wolf Tooth Goatlink derailleur hanger extension offsets the position of your 11-speed Shimano rear derailleur improving long-term shifting performance and making it possible to run larger range cassettes in an optimal position.
If you're looking to climb the steepest climbs on a 1x set up this is a hassle-free way to do so.
The GoatLink grew out of a desire within Wolf Tooth's team to run 11-speed Shimano derailleurs and shifters with SRAM 10-42t XD cassettes without compromising shifting performance.
When used with a 10-42t cassette the GoatLink 11 re-positions SLX M7000 XT M8000 and XTR M9000 rear derailleurs such that free chain length between the cassette and the top derailleur pulley is within 1% of what Shimano intended while cassette tooth engagement in the smallest cog is improved by 27%.
Compatibility
- The GoatLink 11 is compatible with SLX M700 XT M8000 and XTR M9000 series 11-speed Shimano rear derailleurs.
- The GoatLink 11 mounts only to standard derailleur hangers.
- Double chainrings (2x) is supported and requires a long cage (SGS) rear derailleur with no more than a 12t difference in front chainrings (with an 11-46t cassette).
- Triple chainrings are not supported.
- Direct Mount native frames and SRAM derailleurs are not supported.
*Due to variations in derailleur hanger geometry chainstay length chainring size B-screw adjustment and suspension configuration individual results will vary slightly.
GoatLink Installation Instructions
When will my order arrive? (excluding Bikes)
Just above the 'Add to basket' button you will see the item availability. We have 3 different availability stock flags on our website which will determine how long an order will take to arrive.
In Stock in Kircaldy Shop
This means that we physically have the item in the shop. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options then you can expect your order within 1 to 3 working days. If you choose a Non Priority Delivery service you can expect your order within 3 to 5 working days.
In Stock at Supplier
Our stock system is linked in with our suppliers stock system which allows us to offer a wider product range, but does increase the delivery times a little. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options you can expect the order within 3 to 5 working days. If you choose Non Priority Delivery you can expect the order within 5 to 10 working days, although this is completely determined by the speed of the item coming from our supplier.
Out of Stock
This means that both ourselves and our suppliers are out of stock of the item. Although the website won't allow you to order something with this stock flag you are more than welcome to contact us with the Product ID. We may be able to back order it for you, or at least see if we can provide an estimated restocking date.
If you need an order quicker than this please email us with the product ID to find out if this is possible to avoid disappointment.
What about bikes?
We aim to dispatch all bikes within 5 working days, but during busy periods we may have a few builds in the queue and could take a bit longer. If this is a concern or you need the bike before a certain date then please email us to make sure we can achieve this and avoid any disappointment. We will email you the day of dispatch and you can expect the bike the following day. If you provide a mobile number on your order the courier will also send you a text message 1 hour before delivery so you know exactly what time to expect it.

We use Royal Mail for most of your orders unless they are bulky or valuable, in which case we will send the order using DPD. You can also specify DPD at checkout if you prefer to have your item delivered with an hours notice in the form of email or text from the courier.
