KITSUMA DB - DOUBLE BARREL HAS EVOLVED

Continuing the 15-year legacy of Double Barrel twin tube technology shocks from Cane Creek, Kitsuma is an incredibly adjustable rear shock designed to be incredibly easy to use. It caters to all varieties of rider styles, body types, and bicycle frame designs without the need for any internal changes. Kitsuma has expanded on the already wide range of adjustment from its predecessor while also reducing the number of external positions. These two advancements combine to create a discernible difference between each adjustment.

Tool Free Adjustment

No need to crane your neck under your bike while fumbling with tiny allen wrenches to make adjustments. DB Kitsuma sports completely tool-free adjusters that are ergonomically designed to be easily accessible and adjustable trail-side - giving riders the power of a pro-tune at their fingertips.

Single Rotation Low Speed Adjustments

Gone are the days of counting clicks backward and forward to know where you are and make adjustments. The entire range of DB Kitsuma's low-speed compression and rebound circuits are controlled within a single rotation, while the high-speed circuits are controlled within two rotations, allowing the rider to easily reference where they are within their adjustment at a glance. The rider has full control and a true sense for how their bike will handle in a variety of real-world scenarios thanks to DB Kitsuma's large multi-indexed adjusters.

Additionally, labels on the adjusters have been simplified to " soft" and " firm" for compression and " slow" and " fast" for rebound to better illustrate how the adjustment effects ride feel, and to give riders confidence to make trail-side adjustments.

Finally, DB Kitsuma simplifies the tuning process by increasing the range of adjustment while reducing the number of external positions in each circuit - making each position more meaningful and discernible on the trail. All these improvements add up to a high-performance tuning experience that is incredibly intuitive and accessible.

3-Position Climb Switch

DB Kitsuma is equipped with a single lever that switches the shock between three distinct modes, drastically affecting the shock's feel and character. The new three position climb switch retains Double Barrel's " Descend" mode it's patented " CS" mode which provides a stable, yet responsive platform engineered to maximize traction and pedal efficiency while climbing over technical terrain and singletrack. DB Kitsuma also adds a new " Firm" mode. By utilizing a design that closes off the common bleed port, this third position excels at pedaling over long stretches of pavement or gravel roads on your way to the trail.

When will my order arrive? (excluding Bikes)

Just above the 'Add to basket' button you will see the item availability. We have 3 different availability stock flags on our website which will determine how long an order will take to arrive.

In Stock in Kircaldy Shop
This means that we physically have the item in the shop. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options then you can expect your order within 1 to 3 working days. If you choose a Non Priority Delivery service you can expect your order within 3 to 5 working days.

In Stock at Supplier
Our stock system is linked in with our suppliers stock system which allows us to offer a wider product range, but does increase the delivery times a little. If you choose one of our Priority Delivery options you can expect the order within 3 to 5 working days. If you choose Non Priority Delivery you can expect the order within 5 to 10 working days, although this is completely determined by the speed of the item coming from our supplier.

Out of Stock
This means that both ourselves and our suppliers are out of stock of the item. Although the website won't allow you to order something with this stock flag you are more than welcome to contact us with the Product ID. We may be able to back order it for you, or at least see if we can provide an estimated restocking date.

If you need an order quicker than this please email us with the product ID to find out if this is possible to avoid disappointment.

What about bikes?

We aim to dispatch all bikes within 5 working days, but during busy periods we may have a few builds in the queue and could take a bit longer. If this is a concern or you need the bike before a certain date then please email us to make sure we can achieve this and avoid any disappointment. We will email you the day of dispatch and you can expect the bike the following day. If you provide a mobile number on your order the courier will also send you a text message 1 hour before delivery so you know exactly what time to expect it.

Who do you use to send orders?

We use Royal Mail for most of your orders unless they are bulky or valuable, in which case we will send the order using DPD. You can also specify DPD at checkout if you prefer to have your item delivered with an hours notice in the form of email or text from the courier.
